His band The Cross were hard to bear, and while his clutch of solo albums had their moments, he wisely seemed to save his best work for the group. A peak of sorts came when Nazis 1994 revealed to a startled world who the bad guys in World War II were.
Roger’s fifth studio album ‘Fun on Earth’ is released on 11th November 2013. Fun on Earth is one of Taylor’s most exciting, eclectic and accomplished pieces of work to date. Recorded at Priory Studios, Surrey, the 13 track album is a triumphant display of superior musicianship showcasing Taylor at his vocal best.

Roger Taylor und seine Reibeisenstimme, mit zum Teil wunderbaren Melodien. Gelegentlich ließ er es auch mal rockig krachen, aber viele Songs kommen auch sehr sanft daher. Es gibt auch zwei "Raritäten": "I Wanna Testify" war seine allererste Soloarbeit 1977 und die hier vorliegende Single- Version von "The Unblinking Eye" mit seinem wunderbaren Text erlebt hier eine CD- Premiere.
