Hubert Laws: You’ve got to realize that the relationship I have with Chick Corea is woven in and out over the years since Julliard 1961, when I met Chick. We were both enrolled in Julliard, and when I finally got an offer to record my first album, “The Laws of Jazz”, he was one of the first ones I called, along with Richard Davis on bass.
