De La Salle College Churchtown was officially opened in 1952 and moved to its present site in 1957. Since then the College has been extended on two separate occasions, in 1986 and 1997. In 2022 / 2023, the College celebrated its 70th Anniversary of providing education to the students of South County Dublin.
