5 de may. de 2021 · Elmore James. Leroy Carr was such an influential blues musician, really shaping the sound of piano blue specifically, but blues and soul generally far into the 1960s. He died young and died hard. He was a prolific recorder, and thank goodness for that! These 16 sides alone came only within the span of a year.
