James Gang, 1970. James Gang was een Amerikaanse rockband rond drummer Jim Fox.De band heeft nooit lang in dezelfde bezetting bestaan. The James Gang ontstond in Cleveland in 1966 en bestond oorspronkelijk uit vijf leden. Grote invloeden waren The Yardbirds en The Who.In 1969 bestond de band, naast Fox, uit Tom Kriss (zang en bas) en Joe Walsh (zang en gitaar).

Jesse Come Home is the ninth and final studio album by James Gang, released in 1976.This album is the only one recorded with lead guitarist Bob Webb and keyboardist Phil Giallombardo (Giallombardo had been in an early lineup of the band but he had left prior to the recording of their first album). The title Jesse Come Home refers to one of the band's namesakes: Jesse James.
