Conceived after a creative turning point for the band with 1971’s “Meddle”, British psych-rock turned prog-rock band Pink Floyd wrote and recorded what would eventually become “The Dark Side of the Moon” at EMI Recording Studios, now known as Abbey Road, from May 1972 to February 1973 with engineer Alan Parsons.
