Ok so I know people aren't sure whether or not Rami Jaffee is in the band but I just wanted to know what peoples opinions are about him. Personally I don't like him, especially when they were making the Skin and Bones album because I think, by adding synthesizers and piano to Foo Fighters songs and performances, it takes away that real rock sound of the Foo Fighters.

It gives me vibes of the last formation of The Clash, with only Strummer and Simonon in, plus 3 strangers (so 5 pieces compared to classic 4), but it really was a different band and didn’t last. It’s different for them, of course, but it does feel sad and weird when you see other bands from that time (Rancid, Green Day, NOFX, Pennywise… now even Blink-182!) still as one piece together.

He doesn't add anything new to the band. I feel if he had never left back in the 90s and stayed sure I wouldn't have any quarrel to know. But he left, and Chris took the position and brought an element to the band, Dave or Pat can't bring. Pats just jumping back on after the success he was never apart of.
