En un club de debate en otoño de 1896 conoció a Frances Blogg, la mujer que en 1901 se convertiría en Frances Chesterton. Con su ayuda pudo trazar el acrobático salto desde sus intuiciones hasta la consistencia de la fe católica. Frances era una intelectual amante de la poesía. Su familia era agnóstica y ella, anglicana.

[1] During this time she was courted by and then engaged to the celebrated writer and philosopher G. K. Chesterton. After their marriage in 1901, Frances Chesterton moved on from her formal role in the PNEU, but she remained friendly with the organization.

The most recent posting was about mothers, for Mother's Day, and though I don't really have time for making an adequate reply in a short posting, I will try to say SOMETHING.

Her parents made sure she got the best education which included one of the first kindergartens and later at a ladies' progressive school. She belonged to a debate society she and her brother Knollys helped originate and met Gilbert who later joined.
