30 de dic. de 2020 · Besides “Mary Magdalen,” Richard is represented with two songs: a tale of astronauts and economics, “Satellites,” and the acerbic breakup song, “Are You Happy Now.” Lucy, on the other hand, celebrates falling in love on “Ten Year Night” (now more than 20 years old!) and the memory of extended family in “Reunions.”

There's a little lyrical discrepancy in the last line of the fourth verse that I'm having a problem with. The liner notes to "Reunion Hill" say that the line is "Fill the emptiness of right now." Well, it's clear that Richard's not singing that. I have a tape of Richard performing the song, and he clearly sings "Fill the emptiness inside."
Ten Year Night (Red House, 1999) Lucy Kaplansky amazingly is still able to grow with every new record. ... (together with Dar Williams and Richard Shindell) -- playing bigger venues and being showered with raving reviews certainly doesn't harm anyone's self-confidence.
