比得莱斯学校成立于1893年，最初建在海沃德希斯附近的比得莱斯房子里。学校保留了传统的教学目的，但也营造了一种轻松的氛围。近年来，学校在保留传统核心价值观的同时，也非常重视学生的学术发展。

How to find us Bedales is set in the heart of the South Downs National Park in Steep, near Petersfield, Hampshire. Our campus is easily accessible via the A3 or the A272; exit at the junction signposted services/Petersfield Industrial Estate.
Bedales School achieves consistently good academic results despite not being overly selective. In 2021, 65% of GCSE and BAC grades were 9-7 grades and 21% of A-Level grades were A grades. Not being keen on the GCSE curriculum (too restrictive!), Bedales School introduced the Bedales Assessed Courses (BAC).
