  6. Redd recorded 1960's The Music from "The Connection" for Blue Note and Shades of Redd in 1961. He soon moved to Europe, where he performed regularly, but he became quite obscure in the U.S. In 1974, he moved to Los Angeles and issued intermittent yet worthy sessions for Interplay, Uptown, Triloka, and Milestone through 1990.
