Student Council Beekman’s Student Council consists of interested students who work to enliven the community feeling of our school, addressing concerns of the student body, organizing student activities like Spirit Week, the Halloween Carnival, and Prom. Careers. Part-time Teaching and Tutoring Positions: The Tutoring School is always looking for well-qualified, enthusiastic teachers and tutors to work with students in a variety of subject areas. All assignments are part-time and per-assignment. We serve a diverse client base, with occasional assignments outside of the Manhattan area.
Each year, The Beekman School runs a 24-day summer school program. For the school year ending in June 2024, summer classes will begin on Monday, July 1 and end on Monday, August 12. There are four two-hour class periods each day, and all classes meet Monday through Thursday for the entire six weeks of the summer session.
