„Lucky#Slevin“ ist einer der Filme, die man sich getrost mehrfach ansehen kann. Zwar kennt man nach dem erstmaligen Ansehen die geschickt inszenierten Kniffe der Handlung, doch alleine die Coolness mit der Bruce Willis (Stirb langsam, The 6th Sense) und Josh Hartnett (Pearl Habor, Sin City) ihre Rolle spielen rechttfertig die erneute Sichtung des Films.
Slevin muss dringend etwas tun, vielleicht sogar etwas Undenkbares, um diesem Albtraum aus Verwechslungen zu entkommen. LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN ist ein schräger und cleverer Action-Thriller mit vielerlei unerwarteten Wendungen und vielschichtigen Handlungssträngen, die sich durch die New Yorker Unterwelt ziehen. Nichts ist wie es scheint.
