Biografia. I Big Country nascono nei primissimi anni ottanta in Scozia, a Dunfermline, grazie all'incontro di Stuart Adamson (chitarra, voce, e autore principale, morto suicida nel 2001), ex membro del gruppo punk Skids e Bruce Watson (chitarra). A questi si associano due dei più noti session man in circolazione: il batterista Mark Brzezicki ed il bassista, Tony Butler.
