This album was originally issued as Atlantic #8249, 1/15/70. "Let's Get Together Soon" was reworked by Gamble & Huff and became "Hope That We Can Be Together Soon" for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes a few years later. Uncredited writers #18 found in 'The Complete Dusty Springfield', a book by Paul Howes.

10 de feb. de 2007 · A Brand New Me was my first exposure to Dusty Springfield's artistry. I must have been seven years old. I played that album till the grooves wore out! When I saw it on CD in 1992, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I didn't know "You Don't Have to Say Love Me" or "Dusty in Memphis" so I didn't have a point of comparison.
Here we can appreciate both for the first time. The various backing instruments are expertly brought to the forefront, and they swirl and dance with Dusty's sultry voice in a new way. The songs are really stirring and production values were high. Those with any interest in Philly Soul or Dusty Springfield need to hear this!
In 2015, they released Come for a Dream: The Complete U.K. Sessions 1970-1971 that gathered 17 tracks from From Dusty with Love (A Brand New Me's British title) and 1972's See All Her Faces.
