Prashant Nair's Umrika is about the burden of the American Dream. A pensive idea, to begin with, Nair films lacks the flair or the characterizations to really go the distance. Furthur marred by sloppy direction and flawed narrative decisions, Umrika becomes a not so memorable experience when it easily could have been.
