  1. Hurtwood House has a 5% Oxbridge slipstream, but pupils are as likely to attend top drama or arts schools like RADA and LAMDA or St Martins. The school is non-denominational, open to and respectful of children from all religious faiths. Hurtwood House was rated Excellent in its most recently available ISI Educational Quality Report (2018).

  2. Hurtwood House has a very close system of monitoring and support for all of its students so that any problems can be quickly identified and addressed. Although on occasion we have had students with mild learning difficulties or special needs, we do not offer any specific facilities in these areas.

  4. Boarding Houses. As a fully residential school, our first concern is to provide students with a safe, structured, caring and happy community, a home from home. That is why we place so much emphasis on our House structure. Students live in one of five country houses or their lodges, some of which are on the campus and some nearby.

  5. DATES. The English Language Summer School runs from Sunday 30th June to Saturday 3rd August 2023. Minimum stay is 2 weeks. Sunday arrivals and departures only. (apart from final Saturday!)Every day, Monday to Saturday, there are lessons in the morning (15 hours per week): Lesson 1 9.25am-10.30am. Break 10.30am-10.50am.
