1 de abr. de 2024 · It’s been ten years since I delved into the world of Kavus Torabi’s music thanks to Knifeworld’s second album The Unravelling which I bought with my graduation money from The Laser’s Edge website. There were the psychedelic sounds, the Syd Barrett textures, and the alternative rock approaches for what was shown in Knifeworld’s music.

His current commitments, with Gong and as one third of The Utopia Strong, have left him short of time to work with his other band, Knifeworld.

Kavus Torabi biography Kavus Torabi is a British musician and composer of Iranian descent. He's known for his work in the avant-garde rock field, primarily as a guitarist. Torabi was one of the founding members of The Monsoon Bassoon. His main band as bandleader is Knifeworld while he has been an important member of many notable progressive bands.
