Each chicken should have at least 3 square feet of available living space in the coop and at least 6 square feet of exercise space in the connected run.

8 de sept. de 2022 · Silkie bantams are quiet happy with other chickens and their friendly and docile nature means then generally get on well with other chickens. I have only ever had one bad tempered Silkie rooster in my years with the breed and even he was nothing like some that I have had to deal with.
Silkie bantams are popular pets and show birds due to their petite size. Regular Silkie chickens weigh up to 4 pounds and are not considered bantam Silkies. A bantam Silkie typically weighs between 1 to 2.5 pounds and reaches a maximum height of about sixteen inches.
