The summer tourist season in Whistler doesn’t kick into high gear until the end of June, so most trails remain relatively quiet. The higher elevation hiking trails in Whistler and Garibaldi Park often have lingering snow well into June and sometimes early July.

Our Top Tip: for the ultimate experience, combine Panorama Ridge with Black Tusk and camp overnight at Garibaldi Lake. This hike is an absolute must-do in Whistler!

  6. You have two ways to get here and both require paying for access to Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. An adult day pass is about $150 and a pass good for the whole summer is just $180. These give you access to all the chair lifts and gondolas that access hiking trails as well as the Peak2Peak Gondola.

  7. 21 de may. de 2024 · Blackcomb Gondola opens on May 21 for summer sightseeing. Whistler Gondola and PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola are due to open on June 15, providing access to both mountains and over 50 KM of hiking trails to explore. The Peak Express Chairlift, which gives you access to the Cloudraker Skybridge and Raven’s Eye is due to open on June 15.
