The Prime Predacons inspired the myths and legends of dragons on earth and Dragonstorm does a very similar thing in TLK. The G1 Predacons were originally going to debut in TF: The Movie, their original concept was that they were an Autobot conbiner group. When conbined they form into a dragon called Predaking.
