Ponstan is used to treat: sudden onset or persistent pain in rheumatic diseases , muscle pain, pain in the spinal cord area (e.g. vertebral discs, shoulder or neck pain), pain following surgery, injuries or dental procedures, head, tooth and ear ache, painful and/or excessive menstrual bleeding.
Ponstan may also be used for simultaneous pain relief and lowering the temperature in flu-like illnesses. In addition, it is suitable for symptomatic treatment of other infectious diseases associated with fever, especially those localized in the upper respiratory tract. 4.2. POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
PONSTAN is used to relieve the symptoms of period pain and treat heavy periods. It also provides short term relief of pain in conditions such as muscle and joint injuries such as sprains, strains and tendonitis; dental pain. For more information, see Section 1.
