It's best to put the Peace Lily in a spot that doesn't get any afternoon sun, as this will be too bright for it in the summer. A spot that gets afternoon sun in the winter is an option though. Indirect sunlight exposure in the morning or evening in the summer is ideal.
Place the peace lily in a cool place for a few months over the winter. An unheated or little heated bedroom will do well. Stop fertilizing the plant and water it only a little. After at least eight weeks, water the plant thoroughly and fertilize vigorously with good flowering plant fertilizer.
