Martin Scorsese, basándose en un libro de Nicholas Pileggi, filmó esta excelente película sobre gánsteres neoyorquinos desde el punto de vista de Henry Hill/ Ray Liotta quien, en flashback y con voz en off, nos hace partícipes de sus correrías mafiosas durante varias décadas, parece que basadas en hechos reales.
