The Sir Samuel Steele Collection is a family archive composed of the papers of Sam Steele, his wife Marie, their children Gertrude, Flora, and Harwood, and family friend Roger Pocock. Currently housed at Bruce Peel Special Collections , the Steele collection will close on 28 March 2024 and we anticipate that it will re-open in its new home, at University of Alberta Archives , on 1 October 2024.
