Formerly a professor at NYU/Tisch Film & TV Department, Ms. Cohen has been a faculty member at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for over 25 years. In October, 2008, Ms. Cohen was honored to represent the United States in the work of Lee Strasberg, at the international Methodic Theatrical Festival in Tuscany.
In addition to Saturday and After-School classes during the traditional school year, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers summer day camps and intensives for students in grades 2-12. Our Young Actors summer programs are designed to encompass students at all levels and provide foundational training in Lee Strasberg’s world renowned Method Acting technique.
The One Year Conservatory follows the same course of study as the first nine months of the Two Year Conservatory. Courses vary by session. Acting Technique (Major Area) : 36 Clock Credits. History & Criticism : 6 Clock Credits. Voice and Movement : 12 Clock Credits.
