Give Till It's Gone est le dixième album studio de Ben Harper [1], sorti le 17 mai 2011.C'est son premier album solo depuis Both Sides of the Gun, sorti en 2006.. Dans cet album, Ben Harper a collaboré avec Ringo Starr pour les chansons Spilling Faith and Get There from Here [2]. Jackson Browne a aussi participé à la chanson Pray That Our Love Sees the Dawn [3].

Per "Give Till It's Gone", la sua ultima fatica, si può fare lo stesso discorso. Dopo aver fatto centro coi Relentless7 (si ascolti " White Lies For Dark Times " per credere) Ben Harper non cambia rotta ma usa all'incirca gli stessi ingredienti: poco soul , chitarre graffianti, basso corposo e il folk che lascia spazio al rock più spensierato.

Ben Harper has been very busy recording music since his debut album "Welcome To The Cruel World" was released back in 1994. 17 years later, "Give Till It's Gone" is his tenth studio album and, although it is a very consistent and solid affair, it does sometimes feel as though I have heard it all before and there are only a few stand out tracks.
