Roger McGuinn's Thunderbyrd: West Coast Legends Vol. 4 (DVD) Roger McGuinn, best known as The Byrds lead vocalist and guitarist formed Roger McGuinn's Thunderbyrd in the late 70s. The title of the band was in part a tribute to Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue tour, of which he was a part of, and also a reminiscence of his former 60's band.
15 de jul. de 2010 · This is great! It may not be The Byrds, but it is Roger McGuinn fronting a quality rock band, and performing a 70-minute set that includes many of the Byrds' best tracks. The concert took place in Essen, Germany, in 1977, and was filmed by Rockpalast, with their customary high standards of sound and picture quality.
