Kommentar von xaratherus It is also possible to reach the Hinterlands from Western Plaguelands: If you make your way north along the banks of the river east of Southshore, you'll find yourself meandering out of Hillsbrad, through the Alterac Mountains, to where the river eventually feeds into Darrowmere Lake.
Through Hillsbrad. Go west through the big stone gate, then north. Southshore. Look at the top right hand section of the map and there is a small gap in the mountains. When you run that way you’ll see two level 40 gryphons flying around the opening into the hinterlands. Wow, you really do see two gryphons.
Tip / Guide. There is actually a tunnel from Arathi Highlands into the Hinterlands. You can access this tunnel by going north when you enter the highlands and go along the mountainside until you see a tunnel/mine entrance.
