There is obviously no canonical reason to watch the movies in any particular order, but for a number of reasons, I would suggest watching them in the order in which they were released. The Thing (1982) is universally regarded as a far superior movie than the prequel. The Thing (2011) is a prequel, and employs a significant number of retcons.

9 de jul. de 2015 · Another point, and I do not recall seeing it mentioned here, or elsewhere, is at the beginning of the movie, when the dog thing first makes contact with the members of outpost 31, it jumps up on Bennings, and proceeds to attempt licking his face. Anyone who has had a dog do that to them knows that there is going to be at least some success.
30 de sept. de 2016 · No, that was merely spite. A computer cannot cheat if it's programmed to follow the rules of the game. The entire subplot of the movie is about Chess or at least strategy. During the beginnging; MacReady pours whiskey into the chess games electronics bank at the beginning in wake of a legitimate defeat.
24 de abr. de 2016 · My understanding of how movie scripts are written is that the foreign language would be written in English first and then translated later, so you could argue that what is being said is incorrect compared to the intended meaning in the script.

19 de sept. de 2014 · The movie always struggled to take a story about a slow decline in mutual trust escalating into paranoia and near-insanity and make it fit into a 2 hour timeframe. This probably ruled out any chance of build-it-yourself weapons, or made it less desirable to introduce them, and the weapons were never the point anyway.
