Primary Curriculum Intent 2023-2024. At present the curriculum is thematic and is currently being redesigned at KS1 and KS2 around ‘Big Questions’, to provide cross-curricular links which will deepen pupils’ understanding and spark their curiosity. All pupils are taught the full-breadth of the National Curriculum by their class teacher.

We are very excited to have launched our new behaviour strategy with the children. The children and staff wanted to ensure that there was the opportunity for positive praise alongside sanctions for negative behaviour. We listened to what the children were telling us and developed our approach in order to promote positive behaviour in our school.
Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
