Jeff Beck 1944-2023. The story I read a long time ago was that Jeff was surprised when he heard his playing on what became The Ballad of Bill Hubbard and the opening of Roger’s Amused To Death. He’d though they were just testing and rolling tape while he jammed over the What God Wants chords.
