The Outbreaker does a much better job here, giving you great external organization with 2 large front facing pockets and a front slash pocket. I also like the fabric on the Outbreaker better. The X-Pac fabric is stiffer and feels like a rain coat, and it only comes in black, and doesn’t have the color options of the Setout.

This R package re-implements and extends the original model introduced with outbreaker, but most importantly also provides a modular platform allowing users to specify custom models within an optimised inferential framework.
6 de may. de 2022 · This was also after I had used the Tortuga Outbreaker on a handful of weekend motorbike trips, a week long surf trip by bus, and a handful of other adventures in which I really started to like the pack. But after this – after taking the Outbreaker through this impromptu obstacle course – I was convinced. This bag is pure awesomeness.
The Outbreaker uses an X-PAC, VX21 Sailcloth fabric, which was originally designed by a Germany for sailboat sails. The X-Pac is an awesome fabric for a travel backpack. It’s strong, lightweight, and abrasion resistant, and probably the best thing: it’s waterproof, so you don’t need a rain cover with this pack.

It comes in 40L and 30L versions, both of which are slightly smaller than the Outbreaker. This review was originally of the Outbreaker, but as it’s no longer available, we’ve updated it to focus on the new Tortuga Backpack.
