  1. I'm only a casual Bowie fan, but I'm a huge Zeppelin fan, and there have been times when people would call me out for liking a band full of problematic people, especially Jimmy Page (admittedly, this only happened a couple of times). I know that Bowie has been accused of having sex with an underage Lori Mattix, and I wanted to know if any of you folks have been called out for being Bowie fans ...

  2. Greetings T, No, Jimmy has not publicly addressed the Lori situation; However, lots of women have jumped on the MeToo bandwagon, in the last several years, not to suggest they are wrong in doing so. My suspicion is that he may have compensated her in his own way, privately.

  3. Someone said something on askReddit about David Bowie being a pedo and I replied with he was innocent and even linked an article that states facts proving he was innocent, ... but the only story I know is the groupie that dated Jimmy Page, supposedly also ‘dated’ Bowie, and she was young. That’s the only story I know.

  4. Lori Maddox's claims about sleeping with David Bowie when she was 15 are dubious, but it wouldn't particularly surprise me if he did have sex with underage groupies. Jimmy Page certainly did, and though I find it weird that he had an ongoing relationship with Maddox, neither case especially bothers me. Groupies sought out rock stars for sex.

  5. 22 de abr. de 2023 · David Bowie and Jimmy Page met before they were famous. In the 1960s, Bowie was in a band called The Manish Boys, and they covered the song “I Pity the Fool.”

  7. So Bowie did it all. He had sex with everyone, smoked weed, did coke, worked with and hired black musicians, everything cool in the "art" world that you're not supposed to do. He also had people he admired like Andy Warhol, Lou Reed, the Beatles, who were breaking similar rules. It was a rebellion.
