It is almost two years since Luffy started his training, he is now able to relax at Amazon Lily for a bit, it was fun getting reacquainted with everyone there. He especially missed the beautiful Hancock, and she definitely missed him, they will find out just how much they "missed" each other!
My biggest issue with Luffy x Hancock is the obvious lack of emotional buildup and development. I just don’t see Oda shoving Hancock into the final plot as a way to validate their romance. I also don’t see Luffy suddenly falling in love with Hancock or accepting her marriage after rejecting her and barely seeing her for most of his journey.
