Anselm Kiefer. (Donaueschingen, 1945) Pintor alemán. Entre 1966 y 1968 estudió pintura en Friburgo con Peter Dreher y en 1969 en Karlsruhe con Horst. Antes de graduarse estudió también con Joseph Beuys. En 1971 se traslada a Hornbach, en el sur de Alemania, donde vive con su familia en una antigua escuela, cuyo ático convierte en estudio.
