Jack Kirby passed away on February 6, 1994, leaving behind a legion of fans and ideas, and a creative legacy not likely to ever be matched in the comics field. As is obvious, it has not been within the scope of this book to encompass all of Kirby’s creations and his many facets.

28 de ago. de 2017 · Simon & Kirby quickly produced Red Raven Comics for Martin Goodman at Timely, which contained a Comet Pierce story where Jack first signed his name as “Jack Kirby.” Jack soon left Fox to work with Simon exclusively, and moved his family to a nicer apartment in Brooklyn. There, he met his upstairs neighbor, and future wife, Rosalind Goldstein.
28 de ago. de 2019 · It should come as no surprise that some of these Kirby covers have become not just classic but iconic, like his cover for CAPTAIN AMERICA COMICS #1 from back in 1941. Kirby also created the covers for Marvel's biggest super teams, the Avengers and the X-Men, when their series premiered on the same day in 1963.
