While he and the band celebrate the Black Album in grand style in 2021, Trujillo marks another anniversary as well. Thirty years ago the bassist was flexing his youthful creative clout with his funk-metal band Infectious Grooves.
Robert Trujillo. Roberto Trujillo (born October 23, 1964) is the fourth and current bassist for thrash metal band Metallica. Before joining Metallica, he played bass for bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, and Black Label Society, and solo artists such as Ozzy Osbourne and Jerry Cantrell.
