Und in der DDR deklamierte Walter Ulbricht, er wolle wie Faust "auf freiem Grund mit freiem Volke stehn". Darauf könnte man mit einem Faust-Zitat reagieren: "Es irrt der Mensch, solang er strebt."

Zawiera blisko 12 tysięcy wersów, dlatego uważany jest za dzieło niesceniczne. Uznaje się go za najwybitniejsze dzieło Goethego i syntezę jego poglądów.

31 de mar. de 2015 · Aus dem Urfaust entwickelt Goethe die Fassung "Faust, ein Fragment", die 1788 vollendet ist und 1790 gedruckt wird. Gegenüber dem Urfaust ist das Faustfragment um einen Dialog mit Mephisto erweitert, in dem der Teufelspakt jedoch noch unausgesprochen bleibt. Neu hinzugekommen ist die Szene Hexenküche, dafür fehlt Gretchens Ende im Kerker.
