The Deep Blue Sea exemplifies astounding writing and succeeds in encapsulating a mood. Terrence Rattigan’s writing is beyond astounding and makes for a beautifully nuanced melodramatic performance. Besides this and outstanding performances from the actors there’s not much else to this production, shows how important good writing is.
