Wie schon The Dark , das ebenfalls ein Küstensetting nutzt, um Schrecken, Trauma und auseinanderbrechende Familien zu verbildlichen, scheitert der Film an seiner Aufgabe, aus dieser Ausgangssituation etwas Sehenswertes zu machen.
