Der Film löst das Rätsel des Lebens von Syd Barrett nicht. Manche erhellenden Antworten werden von den Floyd-Kollegen und Freunden gegeben. Besser als nichts, mehr war wohl nicht zu ergründen. Deshalb gebe ich 5 Sterne - nicht, um die Qualität des Films als Produkt zu bewerten, sondern um das tragische Phänomen Syd Barrett zu würdigen.
Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett (Cambridge, 6 de janeiro de 1946 — Cambridge, 7 de julho de 2006) foi um cantor, produtor, poeta, guitarrista e pintor inglês, mais lembrado como um dos fundadores do Pink Floyd.Vieram de Barrett as principais ideias musicais e estilísticas daquela que, então, era uma banda de rock psicadélico (ou rock psicodélico), assim como o nome do grupo.
