25 de dic. de 2020 · England batting great John Edrich has died at the age of 83. Edrich played 77 Test matches during a 13-year international career between 1963 and 1976, scoring 5,138 runs at 43,54 with 12 centuries.
John Edrich also had a good conversion rate, scoring 12 hundreds and 24 fifties with his highest score of 310* against New Zealand in a mamooth innings win for England at Leeds.
JOHN HUGH EDRICH was born at Blofield, near Norwich, on June 21, 1937, and in due course became the fifth member of the family to appear in County Cricket.
25 de dic. de 2020 · Edrich represented England in 77 Tests and seven ODIs between 1963 and 1976. He scored 5138 runs in Tests at an average of 43.54 and 223 runs at 37.16 in ODIs. He made 12 centuries and 24 half-centuries in international cricket including a career-best 301* in the Leeds Test against New Zealand in 1965.
