2 de abr. de 2012 · The Chris Robinson Brotherhood Big Moon Ritual is a pleasant experience in the jam band genre. I have found most all music that he is a part of to be good listening over the years. Only 7 tracks in this effort, but it clocks in at about an hour's worth of tunes.
2 de abr. de 2012 · Big Moon Ritual finds Robinson having fun playing with new people. Clearly he is (and has been) influenced by the sonic adventurousness of the Grateful Dead; this is evident throughout BMR. The tunes are loose and jammy; and though certain Black Crowes albums can be described in similar fashion--Amorica comes to mind--it's a different kind of loose and a different kind of jammy.

The only way i can describe 'Big Moon Ritual' is cosmic American music. Obviously influenced by large helpings of The Grateful Dead, The Band and The Allman Brothers with a touch of The Doors, you get the idea. And not forgetting that it's headed up by the genius that is Chris Robinson, of The Black Crowes.
