Boarding at Millfield School. All boarders (around 75% of students) are full boarders so they live at school seven days a week and there is a vibrant weekend programme of activities. The school is alive on the weekend with 995 boarders, including 250 British expats, living onsite and benefitting from the home from home environment.
Millfield Prep has between 60-70 international students from over 24 different countries with approximately a further 10 British or dual nationality students who also live abroad, amongst its 450 pupils.Around 130 pupils board in the five boarding houses. Millfield has been an international school from its beginning. It was founded by Boss Meyer, arriving from India with six princes in 1935.
