S těmito rádoby kriminálními seriály se v 80. letech roztrhl pytel. (Téměř) jeden vedle druhého, diskotéková éra chrlila přehršle blábolů, stejně tak Knight Rider, mluvící auto a D. Hasselhoff - tragéd, který v tomto seriálu nebyl ještě tolik k smíchu (jako v Pobřežní hlídce), asi proto, že v KR byl ještě oblečený.
