Havering Sixth Form College . The sixth form in Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch, opened in 1991. It is one of the region’s largest providers of A Levels with a great number of subjects offered. It became the sixth form centre for the local Havering secondary schools and still has a long-standing partnership with them.

Havering Colleges’ Sixth Form is in Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch. It is easily accessible by public transport, bus (193, 248, 370), Underground (District Line - Upminster Bridge) and Mainline Rail (Upminster). with visitor and accessible parking onsite.

If you wish to progress to Havering Sixth Form College to study A-Levels for your next steps - which we hope you do - then you will be required to further develop your skills to learn independently. You will be studying far fewer subjects at College, but you will be expected to spend as much time studying outside of the classroom as you do in your lessons.
Havering Sixth Form College acts as a 'half way house' between school and university, or between school and the world of work. Within two years you should become an independent, critical thinker and a confident learner who has accepted responsibility for your own learning. At the College you will be assigned a coach who you will meet with weekly.
