I own the original CD release that ECM issued in 1990 and I just purchased the 2019 CD reissue and I can confirm that the 2019 CD version has NOT been remastered and is 100% identical to the CD version released in 1990 in terms of sound quality.

Bill Connors plays strictly acoustic guitar, and wrote all six pieces. He was blessed with the amazing drummer Jack DeJohnette and the renowned bassist Gary Peacock for this session, but they cannot rescue it.
