For this viewer, Ingrid Goes West is a great character study. Aubrey Plaza gives a brilliant performance as Ingrid. A young woman who believes becoming someone close to who your love object (for her, female acquaintances) is, guarantees acceptance, loyalty. Elizabeth Olsen gives an excellent performance as an object of Ingrid's adulation.
