18 de feb. de 2021 · Daniel Lanois’ “Heavy Sun” album from top to bottom is heavy heavy heavy on organ sounds (Hammond B3 I assume). While there are other instruments in use they all play support to the lead organ. I am not a big fan of the organ sound. The sound and lyrical approach is pure old timey gospel.

Let's hope the pandemic lockdowns lift soon, because Lanois and his bandmates deserve to delight audiences with their crackling chemistry and old-school gospel songcraft, all of which are vividly captured on Heavy Sun.
